Atticus Events deliver high quality effective business-to-business
platforms for the hospitality industry in Europe, the Middle East, Africa
and Asia Pacific, enabling senior level professionals of key positions
to talk business with suitable supplier companies from around the world.
Background
Atticus Events deliver effective business-to-business
platforms for the hotel industry in Europe, the Middle East, Africa and
Asia Pacific. Atticus Events currently manage and run HI DESIGN EMEA and
the soon to be launched HI DESIGN ASIA, enabling hotel operators, designers
and architects to talk business efficiently with suitable supplier companies
from around the world.
Atticus Events was founded in 2007 by Jonathan Needs
and James Burke following the acquisition by Questex Media Group of their
previous company Pelican Events which they formed in 2000. They now manage
HOTEC Asia on behalf of McLean Events International, the new owners of
the HOTEC events, alongside HI DESIGN and HI DESIGN ASIA, owned by Atticus
Events.
Jonathan and James have extensive knowledge and well
developed experience of the hospitality and exhibition sectors including
more than eight years of founding and managing HOTEC ASIA and HOTEC Middle
East, now owned by Questex. They continue their aim to develop a series
of specialised business-to-business meetings forums providing a new, more
effective platform for buyers and suppliers to build lasting relationships
within the Hospitality and other Industries.
A unique format
Each event organised by Atticus Events has a unique
format combining face-to-face meetings, social networking functions, a
product showcase and industry focused seminar programme. Bringing together
buyers and suppliers in this innovative two and a half day programme,
allows delegates to talk business and network with their peers in a way
that is simply not possible with traditional exhibitions and conferences.
All forums are held in a top hotel venue to allow delegates
to conduct pre-selected meetings in pleasant surroundings outside their
normal working environment - paving the way for greater understanding
on both sides.
Delegates who regularly attend our events believe them
to be the most time effective and most productive they have ever encountered.
